How to upload and link to a PDF file

I need to create a link that allows the user to download a PDF. I tried the WYSIWYG image upload, but it gave me an error saying that I could only insert a image. how can I upload the PDF and link to it to download?

Hi,
What you need to do is to add a field to your section. Set the field type to "upload". You can now use that field to upload your PDF files. When you're done, re-generate your code for the display page. Links to your PDF will automatically appear.
