I have followed the instal instructions to the letter including changing permissions. I have also checked host name with my provider and I have created a database ready for the instalation. I have checked the correct versions of Mysql and PHP are installed. When I run the instalation programme I continually get an error message: Error connecting to MySQL:
Lost connection to MySQL server during query Any ideas?

Hi,
Do you get this error only when you try to run CMSB?
Check the settings.dat file in the cmsAdmin/data folder. Make sure the the line:
isInstalled = "0"
If that doesn't work, could you provide a link to your CMS.
