I'm upgrading a CMS site and it seems simple enough - basically just upload cmsAdmin/*.* However, the Production cmsAdmin/data/schema file contains files that I assume should not be erased. Also the upgrade files contain files accesslist.ini.php, accounts.ini.php.default and uploads.ini.php which have corresponding Production instances. Should I move or not move these?

Hi,
schema files are used to structure the sections in CMSB. First, it's always a good idea to backup all of your current files before an upgrade, just in case. Any files that don't conflict won't be overridden by the upgrade.
After backing up, do the upgrade. Everything should work fine. If there are any issues with the sections, you can always restore the schema files from your backup.
Hope this helps.
