Hi everyone

I'm looking to add a CATCHPA to use with the membership plugin. Anyone have any ideas how to do this?

Hi,

You can easily add a CAPTCHA to any form you want. I would suggest starting here:

http://recaptcha.net/plugins/php/

This will give you step by step instructions on how to integrate the script into your form. You have to sign up with them to get an "API Key", but it's free to do so.

Try this and let me know if you run into any problems.

Hope this helps.

Hi Jason,

I looked at recaptcha and installed it into the membership plugin signup form.

It was pretty easy to implement bit I would prefer a less "in your face" "implementation.

A Google search for captcha ended up leaving me more confused then when I started.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Hi Jerry,

There are a lot of free CAPTCHA solutions out there.

You could try this for example:
http://www.phpcaptcha.org/

The recaptcha script, however, is quite good and is the one we use on our website.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
