Hi,

I have a problem inserting texts into textfields after uploading image on IE6.

Could someone help me on this?

This particular client must use IE6.

Hi,

Could you give me some more information about the problem you're having.

Does it only happen in IE6? Have you tried it in other browsers? Also, what version of CMS Builder are you using?

Let me know and I'll take a look.

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your reply!

I have for example, 3 text fields + 1 text box + 1 upload (and info1) set up. After uploading an image, only way to be able to insert text into those 3 text fields is to first click on the text box or any other input fields if they exist. After doing so, somehow the text fields are back on normal. -- This happens when Flash uploader is on. When Flash uploader is off, it's simply impossible to use any fields (they are "frozen"?) on the same section after uploading an image.

As far as I know, it only happens on IE6. I tried on CMSB 2.02, 2.04 and 2.05BETA -- same result.

It doesn't happen on Mac. (Safari, Firefox)

This showed different results. All fields are frozen after uploading image even though Flash uploader is on.

I just found out that the problem also occurs in IE7.

Hi,

I took a look, but am unable to replicate the issue.

Have you tried this from more than 1 computer. Also, IE 8 also seems to work. Is upgrading a possibility?

Let me know.

Hi Jason,

Here is an update info for the problem.

I've found out that the problem occurs ONLY when upload fields (i.e. info1) are set up and not filled.

Do you still have the url and login info for the testing site? If you do, will you please try again without filling the upload field?

Hi,

Sorry, we don't keep that information. If you would like to re-send it to jason@interactivetools.com I'll take a look at it for you.

Thanks.

Hi Jason,

I sent the url and login info. Please check your e-mail.

Here is the exact steps I take to see the problem.

On IE6 (and IE7) but please test on IE6

1) Upload an image
2) Make sure NOT to fill or click on the upload field (info1, info2...)
3) Save the upload
4) Insert texts into text fields (In my case, I can't do so.)

Thank You!
