Gallery like this?

For months I have tried to figure out, how to use a script like the http://devkick.com/lab/galleria/demo_01.htm, mentioned above, for my picture galleries in CMS Builder. But I am just not good enough for the coding, it seems… [:/]

Above, it was described how to use another of the scripts, but there always is a conflict with the other code for the page, so things come out ugly! Some mix of the css styles is the main problem, I think!

Anyone, who have seen the light? Or anyone, who have a good solution for setting up a nice picture gallery in CMS Builder.

I have also tried this one out: http://www.dhtmlgoodies.com/index.html?whichScript=image_slideshow

I could only get it to work with manually uploading the pictures… On the homepage it looks like this: http://www.fotostudio.fo/fs/privat.php

When I try to use it with CMS Builder, I just can’t get it to work, without destroying the layout of the homepage!

Help! HELP!!!

Hi einslistir,

If you can show us a working static (html) page and the full PHP source code for an "ugly" CMS Builder-integrated page, I can tell you what's going wrong. CMS Builder viewers don't need any CSS, and it's possible to mimic any static page with dynamic, CMS Builder-driven content.
All the best,
Chris
We've used the galleria code above in this post quite a few times. We did however change the css style sheet a bit.

Hi einslistir,

I know that you've put a lot of effort into your project so far, but you might want to consider switching to SlideShowPro. It's a product that's extremely flexible, and many of us have integrated with CMSB without issues. There's even a basic how to in the CMSB support section. at http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/cmsbuilder/slideshowpro.html

Since many of us have integrated this program there's also a large knowledge base to draw on.

Just my two cents...

Best,

Hi Kenny. Neat solution as ever. Can you clarify a point for me please? I need to set up galleria for a model agency site i'm buiuilding. Am i right in thinking that the end user only needs to log into cmsb, add text to the title field (model's name) and then upload ,say five or so images, (content) and the galleria script will order it accordingly, and that the agency can easily add/amend images via cmsb? (assuming i've set up the page as per you advice?) Thanks ~ Wolf-E
