If you add a date field called lastLoginDate, the website membership plugin will automatically store the last time the user logged in for you.
Hope this helps.

I added the field as suggested, and made it a System Field, however when I add it to the Member Accounts view, the column appears, sorts by last login, but does not display a date/time

CMS Builder won't be able to retroactively fill in information into that field. It should get updated as users log in since you added it. Can you test it out for a specific user and see if it's updating or not?

Yes I understand that. I've tested it out for several accounts by logging in and out and they don't update, no matter how many times I've tried. I did notice that the existing Special Fieldnames (i.e. updatedDate, createdDate) that utilise dates have "none" selected as the Field Type. Is it possible for an Admin to create more Special Fieldnames?.

Is it that the field is not being updated with a new value, or the field is just remaining blank?
Have you ensured that the field name is correct as it is case sensitive.
Hope this helps.
