Hello, I read the post about v2.05 and the changelog about "view menus". I don't understand what this function is for? Please explain this a bit more and why it would be defaulted to a disable.

Hi,
The new "view" menu adds a "view" link to the actions column of your CMS Section. The view shows you the information stored in a record, but does not allow you to modify this information. The main use for this, is that, as an admin, you can set a user's access to "Viewer" for a section or sections. This means that when that user logs in, they can only view the records, but not change them.
The reason is this is turned off by default is because you would only need it if you wanted to set certain users to "Viewer".
Hope this helps.

MUCH more clearer! Thanks Jason! That would be a GREAT function when utilizing the Membership Function on a lot of sites. Thanks!
