I just took one of my clients up to 2.04 from 1.36 (I know I should probably take them up to the current version, but have a good deal of code that I know works with 2.04 that I use in the sites that I have not tested with the current version yet).

After the update, every time I edit a record and click save, I get an error alert that has a title bar of

The page at http://... says:

The within the error window I just get the record number next to the exclamation icon.

It appears to save the record, but get this message on all of them.

This happens on sections that existed before copying the new files down as well as sections that I've created since the new version has been uploaded.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Gary.

Thank you for the reply - I had no choice (the customer was coming for training today) but to put the site back to V1.36 so that I could finish the site.

I don't doubt that the ajax had something to do with it. This site is a combo X-Cart and CMS Builder site (we use CMSB on all of our X-Cart sites now for real content managed pages on the non-cart pages). However, the odd part of it is that we have done this with 2.04 on several sites prior to this, so I don't understand what the problem was.

If I run into this again in the future, I'll try to give you more than 2 hours notice before the client comes for training.

Gary.

Hi Chris.

I'm getting a similar problem on a couple of my sites running 2.06. Not all the time, and the record is saved - but just the record number appears on the screen at saving.
Cheers,

Update:

Tim was able to resolve the error issue by disabling the AVG Safe Search plugin in Firefox.
