.htaccess file

Hi! Please could someone help.
Installed files onto server but got 550 error when going to /cmsAdmin/admin.php
Finally got through to client's tech support who renamed this file and can now get to the final page but am now getting a this error:
Error connecting to MySQL:
Access denied for user 'client id' (using password: YES)
Is this because the .htaccess file has been renamed or is it the hosting server?

Hi,
Since it's an issue with MySQL, it probably hasn't been caused by your .htaccess file. The problem seems to be logging into your MySQL database.
Log into your hosting service and check to make sure all of your MySQL information is correct.
If that information is correct and you're still experiencing this problem, then please submit a [url http://www.interactivetools.com/support/]2nd Level Support Request[/url] and we can look into this closer. The most likely issue, however, is the host changing something to do with your MySQL details.
