Section Editors not appearing in menu bar

Hello,
I accidentally deleted the Admin user account (!!) and so logged into phpMyAdmin and just changed the value of "isAdmin" to "1" on an existing user. Can you please confirm if this is all that is required to resolve this BIG accident?
I'm unsure if this is related, but I have noticed that when I add a new "Section Editor" it does not appear in the menu bar (I have ensured there is no tick in the field labelled "Don't show this section on the menu bar" under the "Advanced" tab).
Do you know why this may be and what can be done to fix this?

Hi guys,
I just realised that some of the menu items were not appearing to due to access levels that were set in my user account, under Section Access.
Having changed all of these to "Editor" I can now see them all.
