Membership Plugin Bug??

Hi Everyone: I am having a bit of a problem with the membership plugin, specifically the signup.php file. The section that creates the accesslist entry is the problem. When you create a new user, the accesslist entry that should be set to Author (6) for the 'pdr' table ends up blank. Attached is the 'signup.php' file

Any help would be apprectiated!

Hi,

Do you mean that you get a blank record in the accesslist table, or just some of the fields in the access list are blank?

I took a look at the code I don't see an immediate problems. Are you getting any sort of error message?

Please let me know and we'll look into this further.

Hi Jason: the only field in the user account creation process that does not have any data in it is the Section Access. I want the table "pdr" to be set to "author" level.

I don't get any error msgs.

Re: [Jason] Membership Plugin Bug??

Jason: unfortunately, the application is behind a corporate firewall. I can provide you a data dump of the relevant tables/records and the app files.

Re: [Jason] Membership Plugin Bug??

Jason: I figured out what was going on. The 'signup.php' file was actually working properly, and setting access to table "pdr" to "author" (6). What happened was that when I looked at the user account in CMSB, all I could see was that the "Section Name" was set to "none". However, when I expanded it and set it to "By section", I noticed that the "pdr" table was actually set to the correct value "Author".

So, all in all, it works perfectly! Sorry for wasting your time!
