Not sure if this is where I'd post this but I had a few suggestions.
I'd like to see a couple of new field types -- email, url, and phone.
Data in the "phone" field could be entered as 2055555555 but displayed as (205) 555-5555 or maybe a couple of other format choices.
The same for email and url -- they would automatically be checked to make sure they are in the correct format.
Then, under validation options, maybe have a ALPHA and ALNUM option. I've had fields where I don't want the user to enter anything like $, *, :, {, etc. so I'd have to enter the entire alphabet in the validation field. If we could just check ALPHA and have it check for just letters, it would save some time.
Not sure if anyone else has wanted these same options or not.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,
Probably the most flexible solution for this would be to create a custom plugin that would validate input for fields with certain names. That way the plugin could either re-format the value of a field, or produce an error message when someone attempts to save a record. If this is something you'd be interested in, please email consulting@interactivetools.com
Hope this helps
