can you post the code for uploading images like you use in your "Showcase - My Sites - New Portfolio"?

yes u must be logged in to see it.
You can add your images there but it is poorly done but it works very well.
got it running in one of our sites. but we want a plugin version that works with the membership plugin that way we can use it for any site but its a but of a bummer that for each plugin in cmsb You have to pay. for some it is understandable an logic but for most it just doesn't feel right. but CMSB still is the bomb but not for user without php knowledge.
