Is it possible to Archive results

If I have a multiple record and I don't want to appear in a list, is it possible to archive an item that is not in use, rather than delete it all together within the CMS Builder? I only see "modify" and "delete" options, but I'd prefer to save it, in case I need it again later....

Hi Kimamel,

That feature is actually built in to CMSB using a special field called a "hidden" field.

When you check the hidden box in a record, it "hides" the record from your site but does not delete that record.

You can learn how to add a "hidden" check box and use other special fields at: http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/cmsbuilder/special_fieldnames.html

You can also add the status of hidden fields to the fields displayed in your record list. You can then quickly sort your records to show all the records that are hidden at the top of your record list.

You'd do that in the ListPage Fields box in the general tab in the Admin> Section Editor> create or modify area.

Hope that helps,
