Related Related Records

Hello again,

Is it possible to have two levels of related records shown in a table.

For example:

Vehicle
* related model
* * related price
* * related price
* * related price
* related model
* * related price
* * related price
* * related price
* related model
* * related price
* * related price
* * related price

At the moment, in the Vehicle table, I can create the related records for Related Model, but not a second level.

In Model table, I have a field for Related Prices.

So I want all levels in one cmsb table viewer...

Possible?!

Hi,

You can't display a related record inside another related record. The reason for this is that your can't show related records in your list view. So what you would have to do is click on a given related record from your vehicle table to the related record within your model table.

Thanks Jason, I was worried you'd say that.

I really need to cut down that extra click as editing a price for a vehicle the current way is really long winded.

Looks like it'll be a hack or a purpose built page which nests them manually....
