I just installed Instant Website 1.01 on a new installation of CMSB 2.11 on my local machine to do some testing and the Instant Website will display only the main page and the external links. If I choose any of the pages from the navigation I am getting a 404 error page.

Additionally, the admin pages are displaying very strangely, there are vertical scroll bars on the WYSIWYG editor frames anf a vertical scroll bar on the admin content area, when it is not needed. Additionally the TinyMCE controls are not displaying... Please see the attached image.

All ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

BTW, my local install is a WAMP installation which has worked successfully in the past.

Thanks,
Kurt

Damon,

No joy. I replaced the 3rd party directory and opend in Firefox, which had never seen this site before and the cmsAdmin pages were still not displaying any of the tinyMCE editing icons, only the words 'FormatFont size' as shown in the image i sent earlier.

Unless you have any other ideas I am going to delete the entire install and go a different direction.

Hi again,

As I mentioned in the other thread, try deleting the tiny_mce_cache file in the /data/ folder. Another one will be created but hopefully without errors.

Also, if the WYSIWYG editor is not appearing, you are more than likley getting javascript errors.

Are you able to pull up the Error Console in Firefox and let me know what those are? even a screenshot of that would help.

Reply here or email support@interactivetools.com with the details (reference this thread).

Damon,

Some new info on this problem. Per our conversation yesterday I created a new DB in my localhost (WAMP) server and installed the CMSB 2.11. Before doing anything else I logged into the CMSB Admin and configured the site. Next I went into the General Settings page to view the settings and immediatly was able to see an issue.

The General setings editor page has a double vertical scroll bar, one generated by the browser, since the page is longer than my monitors viewport this would be normal. But there is secondary scroll bar inside the viewport presumably created by what appears to be an iFrame in use for the editor page.

Another noticable problem is with the header bar separators. They are displaying outside the apparent iFrame and are fixed on the page. The contents inside the apparent iFrame will scroll as expected, but the header bars remain at a fixed position.

See the image attached.

INFO:
Browser in use - MS IE7 ( 7.0.5730.13)
SERVER in use - WAMPSERVER localhost
MySQL version - 5.1.41
PHP version - 5.3.1
CMSB Rocks!
Thanks,
Kurt

Hi Kurt,

Do you experience this problem when you log into CMS Builder with a different browser? Another option would be to fill out a 2nd Level Support Request so we can log in and take a closer look into the issue.

Hope this helps
