Hi, some guys I work for have 2 websites exactly the same (one for America, one for UK) Both based on CMSbuilder
I have added loads of products to one site and I am wondering if I can mass copy them over to the other site?
Has anyone done this ? because I was going to copy the entire site and then change phone numbers and email address's etc but that was a major headache last time. so I am hoping this time I can just copy products over using database or something similar
Any ideas would be appreciated :)

Hi,
Yes, what you can do is upgrade both your installations to the latest version. Then do a backup of your first installation. Copy the backup file, and uploads folder to the other installation and then restore the backup file. That will move over all the records from one installation to the other.
It is important to note that when you are restoring a backup file, you'll be overwriting all of the records that are currently there.
All software upgrades are done by donation. Here is a link to get the upgrade:

Hope this helps
