cant delete a menugroup

I wanted to rname a menugroup i just created that's called, "globals". i get taken to a file not found in my browser:
/cmsAdmin/admin.php?menu=database&action=editTable&dropTable=1&tableName=globals
So I tried to erase it and get the same thing.
What's going on?

Hi,
Do you still see the globals table in your section editor list? Does it also appear in the left had menu?

Yes, it appears as a blue button on the left. No items under it. i will fill out a second level support form.
