Uploading complete folders

On a client's site I've set up CMSB so they can upload files individually and link to them - a bit like this example: http://www.commonsensedesign.net/blogDetail.php?45 - but is there a way to upload an entire folder and its contents, like an FTP site? Of course, they could zip all the files, but the client wants to be able to see all the files within a directory structure.

Hi Nigel,
Am I missing something, or couldn't you set your upload field for unlimited uploads and upload size (or limit either to a particular number), specify the file types that can be uploaded, and use a foreach loop to display the files and links in a viewer?

Hi, Jerry.
Yes, that works to a certain extent, but what I was hoping for is an easy way to maintain the directory structure with all the files inside it. Even with a multiple upload field - as you suggested - the client would need to go into each individual project folder, select all (Ctrl + A). However, it wouldn't enable people to see which files belong with which project.
Does that make sense? http://www.commonsensedesign.net/newsDetail.php?Nith-Valley-Construction-25

Re: [NigelGordijk] Uploading complete folders
If each project is a separate record, then the detail page could show only those files (and links) belonging to that record, no?
I can't think of a simple approach to eliminate the CTL+A, and I'm sure it gets dicier when there are sub directories involved.
Do they do this for a large number of projects?
I'm sure that the consulting team could streamline the process if you needed them to. (They seem to be able to perform all kinds of magic)
