Clearing image cache on database

Here is my situation: I have hundreds of photos being uploaded and deleted from my database every week. Whenever I erase photos and I upload new ones, the old photos will still be showing on my browser window and I have to continuously refresh my browser window to see the new photos.
I am trying to find out if there is any easy way to clear the cache on the database without having to constantly refresh my browser window.
I tried recreating my thumbnails once but at present I have about 25,000 photos and this is taking a long time to finish.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,
I did a quick Google search for:
php code to refresh a browser page when content changes
and there were some interesting links.
Good luck,
