Hi,
One of my clients' gateway provider is going to charge them $25.00 extra per month because the login credentials are not encrypted.
Is there a way to mask or add encryption to the login areas of the app?
Thanks!
GaB

Hi Gab,
Is it their internet provider or a payment gateway? I'm curious because I've never heard of extra charges like that.
In any case, you can find that under: Admin > General:
Encrypt Passwords [_] Store encrypted passwords in database (can not be disabled)
Also, if they have https:// setup you can set this one too for more security:
Require HTTPS [_] Only allow users to login via secure HTTPS connections
Hope that helps! Let me know if there's anything else I can assist with.

Thanks Dave for your quick answer.
I'm afraid the version of CMS builder (1.31) I've got doesn't have those setting in the under: Admin > General.
Any other idea?

Hi,
The encrypt passwords feature was added in a later release so you will need to upgrade to the latest version to include this option.
You can get the latest version of CMS Builder here::
http://www.interactivetools.com/upgrade/
Before upgrading, backup your database and all CMS Builder files (download them to your local computer).
We can also do the upgrade for you through our consulting department. To discuss, send us an email with some details:
