Membership "Bridge"

Hello, All -
This is a bit of an exploratory question - something that's been knocking around in my head a while...
A client would like to add a forum to his CMSB powered website. Instead of asking registered users to sign-up to use the new facility, however, I want to know if it would be possible to run the forum using membership data pulled from the CMSB accounts table.
In this way users could login to the forum using the same data as their CMSB membership account.
I've heard of such things before - so I'm pretty certain it can be done. (I believe it's called a "bridge") I suppose my question is how difficult would it be?

Hi Perch,
How hard it would be, or if it was possible, would depend on the forum script you were using. You would need to check with the documentation of the forum script to see if you can specify your own user account section.
Hope this helps get you started. If it is possible, we could help you to integrate the forum through consulting (consulting@interactivetools.com).
