Re: [vyskocil] browser settings

Hi Jerry,

I assume that you've upgraded that installation to the latest version of CMSB? You can get the latest version for a donation from http://www.interactivetools.com/upgrade/.

That would be a good place to start even if it doesn't solve your current issue. It will probably solve some other issues that your client hasn't discovered yet.

Caveat: As of v 2.07, when you upgrade, you have the option to use encrypted passwords. If you're using the membership plugin, don't select to encrypt the passwords until you're ready to rework your user password signup, reminder and update forms. The old ones won't work with encrypted passwords.

When you're ready, there's a complete walk through of the modifications necessary in my CMSB Cookbook http://www.thecmsbcookbook.com

*** As with all upgrades, don't forget to back up the latest version of your database and all of the files your current cmsAdmin directory before you begin.

Best,

Jerry Kornbluth

Hi,

Do you know which version of IE the client is running along with their version of CMS Builder? Are they able to use a different browser on the same computer and have it work? Is the client presented with any error messages when they try to save changes?

Let us know and we can look into this further.

Thanks
