Hi!
Is there a way to quickly modify User Account info, say in a schema file? I have 60 users that I want to give access to a section, but it takes ages to modify them all....
Thanks
Paul

Hey Paul,
This plugin might help you out:
http://www.interactivetools.com/add-ons/detail.php?Bulk-User-Access-Editor-1042
Always remember to backup before doing mass changes!
Hope that helps,
Robin

Re: [robin] User Accounts Schema File
Hi Robin,
This looks good but maybe to general for my usage.
If I read this plugin right, it will reset and change EVERYONE to the same section access? If so it just misses the mark.
Ideally I would be able to set it to:
Give selected users access to a section whilst leaving their existing section access as it is.
Does that make sense?

Hey Paul,
To get that kind of control you'll probably need to script something. If you take a look at the _accesslist table you can see how privileges are stored in the database.
Otherwise our consulting department consulting@interactivetools.com can always help.
Hope that helps,
Robin
