error after changing admin name and email

Hello all,
Hope somebody can eliminate a concern for me.
Is it possible to get database errors after changing the name associated with the admin account and its email, or do they not have any bearing on the link to the database? I have an unexplained error (attached) that appeared after I did just this (though it could be purely coincidental).
Of course, it could also be a server issue as suggested by the message.
Related question: since I have ftp access, can I manually edit some config file back to what it was to see if this fixes anything? Where would I find this?
Thanks is advance!
Ian

Hi Ian,
Changing the admin name and email shouldn't cause errors as the Accounts table is not related to the database connection.
The error message you're seeing can be caused by a variety of problems, but the first (and best) test is to revert to the previous working version and then change things one step at a time to see if you can recreate the error.
The main settings file for cmsb is data\settings.dat.php - though if you haven't got a backup copy then editing it directly could cause issues.
If you aren't an experienced coder it may be best to submit a support ticket instead (so we don't have to pass sensitive info through the forum!) and have a programmer take a quick look directly.

Thanks,
Tom
