Membership Plugin - could I make a music/band community site with it?

Before I purchased this just wanted to check it will do what I need.
I want to start a band community site where users would sign up, then be able to comment and like various things on the site using their user account. They would have a profile page with all their information on it along with being able to do a lot of other things around the site.
A higher level of membership would allow users to make band pages on the site for their band.
Is this something I could accomplish with this add on?

Hi _kate_,
The membership plugin will allow users to create accounts on your site, but adding comments would require the website comments plugin and liking things (and all that Facebook/G+ type functionality) would have to be custom built to suit your design.
We have a lot of experience creating social network sites so if you'd like to find out what we can do for you, send us a message http://www.interactivetools.com/hire-us/ and we'll see what we can do.
Of course, if you are able to code php/mysql yourself and are feeling intrepid, you could create your own plugin based on the website comments and website membership plugins.
