Is there any update to this thread? It seems that we are all going to have to either manually update the Tiny MCE or update all of our useres to your next release of CMSB (v 2.15) whenever it is available. Ad as of now you have not confirmed the Tiny MCE 3.5b is fully compatable.
CMSB Rocks!
Thanks,
Kurt

Hi Kurt,

Good point, I should have updated this thread!

TinyMCE 3.5b passed all the tests, and the current version 3.5b3 is also fully compatible.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Kurt,

The 2.15 release of CMSB will include TinyMCE 3.5b3.

I should stress that the issue with Firefox 11 is only caused by the way that TinyMCE instantiates the WYSIWYG editor, not by anything that CMSB is doing so you can just upload the 3.5B3 TinyMCE core to the /3rdParty/tiny_mce folder in CMSB and you should be fine.

Tom

NB You can also check out the TinyMCE thread on this http://www.tinymce.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=28400 which has some other options for solving the problem.

Any word on an ETA for CMSB 2.15? Would rather do a full update for a series of sites if possible. This issue has caught a few sites off-guard.
Cheers,
J.

Hi,

We are scheduled to release CMS Builder 2.15 Beta this week and then, depending on feedback (issues/bugs), we will release the final version a week or so after that.

The WYSIWYG editor issue is be specific to Firefox 11 so using an alternate browser (Chrome, Safari, IE) will allow users to continue to use the WYSIWYG editor.

We will post updates in the forum when the 2.15 Beta and then final version of CMS Builder 2.15 are ready to download.

If there is anything else, I can do to help, please let me know.

Thanks!

Hi,

Firefox 12 was just released today which fixes the Firefox 11 issue with multiple WYSIWYG editors in the admin.
