Multi record checkbox - allow only one record at a time to be selected

If I have a multi record section....is it possible to add a checkbox to the records so that only ONE record can be checked at a time.
What I'm trying to do is have a question/answer section. I want the client to be able to choose which ONE question/answer pair is shown on the homepage. They can only choose one.
I don't want to rely on Dragsortorder as the list might get long.

Hi Kevin,
There isn't a way to do this by default. However, you could create a custom plugin that would check to see if a record already exists that has a check box field checked.
