Is there anything on the interactivetools.com site I can use as a customer manual to help my customers learn how to use the WYSISWYG editor?

Is there another site for the MCE editor that would have something I could use?

Thanks!

Hi,

We don't have any specific documentation on using the wysiwyg editor on our site. The Tiny MCE documentation can be found here:
http://www.tinymce.com/wiki.php

If you have any questions on how the wysiwyg editor works or how to use it, please let us know and I'm sure we can help you out.

Thanks,

Thank you. I was just looking for something handy I could provide my customers, a "how to" use the editor. I've used other CMS software where they provided a basic manual that you could then customize and give to your customers.

Hi,

We have our basic online documentation for CMS Builder as a whole here:

http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/cmsbuilder/

After that our product information is mainly here in the forum, or in our knowledge base here:

Hope this helps

Hi Furcat,

Sorry I didn't notice this post earlier.

There's actually a sample WYSIWYG Users Manual in my CMSB Cookbook http://www.thecmsbcookbook.com that might be of some help to you.

I've used both a single record editor and a multi-record editor and like the multirecord the best.

I'm out of town, but I'll be adding the latest version of a multirecord help system for subscribers in about a week.

if you don't see it, send me a post to remind me.

Hope that help,

Jerry Kornbluth

Hi furcat,

The files for a complete multi-record end user help system, including a viewer file, necessary images, an ini.php file to create the required editor and a backup file containing the data to populate the help pages is now a recipe called A SAMPLE END USER MANUAL USING A MULTI-RECORD EDITOR in my CMSB Cookbook http://www.thecmsbcookbook.com

The recipe features automatic formatting for Chapters, Main Topics and Sub Topics. There's also a list at the top of the page which shows all new or revised recipes for the last 30 days.

Of course you'll have to delete, add and change the data to suit your needs but it provides a great starting point.

Hope it helps.
