Problem loading the Admin Panel

Recently we have not been able to log in to the CSM Builder Admin panel on our website's test subdomain. I'm not sure if this was a result of migrating our website to a new hosting server. I believe this has to do with permissions. This is the error that loads when we try to load the Admin panel page:
Couldn't start session! 'session_start(): open(/var/lib/php/session/sess_8alppqk9nsp858fi4q3p31a537, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13)'! Warning: Unknown: open(/var/lib/php/session/sess_8alppqk9nsp858fi4q3p31a537, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/var/lib/php/session) in Unknown on line 0
We are able to load the Admin Panel on the live directory of the site.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Claudia,
You're right, the issue here is that your subdomain doesn't seem to have permissions to access the temporary folder where your server stores session files. The best bet here would be to contact your host and have them either a) allow subdomains to write to this directory, or b) set up a separate folder where subdomain session information can be stored.
