Re: [s2smedia] 404 redirect

Hi,

There are no settings inside CMS Builder that set up custom 404 redirects. This is normally a function of your.htaccess file. Take a look at this article:

http://www.htaccessbasics.com/404-custom-error-page/

Take a look in your .htaccess file in the root of your site to see if you can find where this is taking place.

Hope this helps

I sent that to the hosting company.. and their response:

We are hosting this site on IIS,  I think there may be something additional needed to be done to handle a 404 error correctly with the PHP CMS you are using.   I do know there are work-arounds for Wordpress sites hosted IIS to redirect the 404 error correctly, among other things.

Hi,

There are no settings inside CMS Builder, or the CMS Builder .htaccess file that define the behavior you're describing. It looks like your server is defining a custom 404 page, that for some reason is your blog page.

Are there any .htaccess files on your server beyond the one inside CMS Builder?
