I am looking for a way to notify members (website membership plugin) by RSS/email when new content has been added to the site. Any thoughts/suggestions on how to go about this?

Hi,
There are a couple of options here.
If you have a dynamic RSS feed, then anyone who is subscribed to your feed will receive the information once it's added.
If you want to notify all members when a new record is created, we could create a custom plugin that will send out the messages when a new record is saved. If you are interested in this, please email consulting@interactivetools.com and we can go over some possibilities.
Hope this helps

Hi Zip222,
There's a group of recipes in my CMSB Cookbook thecmsbcookbook.com on that exact topic.
It's not too hard, but there are a bunch of caveats included to help with the learning curve.
Good luck,
