Newsletter Builder v1.00 Released!

By Dave - August 28, 2012

Hello All,

We've just released a new newsletter plugin called Newsletter Builder. It's simple and easy to use newsletter software that lets your clients create and send newsletters.

We've pretty excited about this one. We've been using the same old outdated newsletter software for years and we're so pleased to be able to replace it with something that integrates smoothly with CMSB.

You can read more about it and check it out here:

Please post any questions, comments or feedback on this thread.

Thanks!

Ahh, sorry about that. It's on the plugin detail page but easy to miss I suppose.

We actually talked about that last night, if we should mention that again somewhere but decided not to. Where do you think we should put it that would make the most sense?

Thanks for the feedback.

Well, its a bit late for the newsletter, but if you place it on the Addons page, as the first statement in the description, everyone should see it.

Our email usually goes slow for a while after sending out the newsletter. Not on the PHP end, but on the server side. Try this direct download link:

Hope that helps!

Dave: I am getting the following error when I try and run the Background Mailer:
You must be logged in as Admin to run this script from the web!

Since the only account is admin and I am logged in as admin, I'm not sure what is happening.

Hi All,

My server has a limit of 500 emails per hour, so I'm setting the cron job to run every 5 mins and send 35... therefore 420 emails an hour.

I'd be interested to know what other hosts have as their restrictions... is 500 about normal?
Cheers,

Tim (toledoh.com.au)
