Error on import

Hi guys - you did some custom work for me a few years back which imports images into the CMS via a script at www.**.com.au/import/import.php

It has suddenly stopped working citing the following error:

Importing images for: 1000,
Warning: imagejpeg(): Unable to open '/home/jmuseum/public_html/cmsAdmin/uploads/1000_001.jpg' for writing: Permission denied in /home/jmuseum/public_html/cmsAdmin/lib/image_functions.php on line 69
Error saving file!

I have checked and double checked permissions. Any ideas?
