Hi Guys,
I've got a spreadsheet with a cell for "date" that I wish to import into a date field.
In Excel, they are DD/MM/YYYY format, but even if I format them as YYYY-MM-DD so they display that way, it seems they are still stored as the previous format.
When I import them into a date field, they simply do not appear...
Any ideas?

Re: [Toledoh] Import CSV - Date
Hi Tim,
I've done some testing and used this method to import data into a date field:
In my CSV spreadsheet (I use openOffice calc as my spreadsheet software, it's free and available here: http://download.cnet.com/OpenOffice-org/3000-18483_4-10263109.html) I had the date column set up as a date with the format YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss, and entered the dates in that format.
I then exported the CSV using , as the field delimiter and had no text delimiter.
After that I just followed the standard import procedure.
Thanks!
