Hi, Parson my amnesia. I have not had to mess with users for a while and I cannot see how to add or edit Users in the backend of CMSB. One client was upgraded by you folks and the other was a fresh install.
Can you remind me exactly where to go to edit Users. I cannot see it anywhere in the account or Admin areas.
thanks, J

Re: [macwebster] Cannot create or edit new user accounts
Hi J,
You should be able (as an administrator) to add or modify records in any section, including the "User Accounts" section.
If you can't add or edit user's records in user accounts, chances are that "Disable Add" and/or "Disable Modify" has been set for that section, or that there is a limit to the number of user records that can be created.
To check these, log in to your CMSB interface as administrator, click on the "Admin Menu" group to expand it, then on "Section Editors", then on the "Modify" link next to "User Accounts".
Under the advanced tab, un-check the boxes for "Disable Add" and "Disable Modify" and any others that you don't feel you need, (the only one that is checked by default is the :Disable View" check box).
Also make sure that the "Max records for this section" number makes sense.
That should get you going.
Good luck,
