AJAX Auto-Suggest fields

I think a useful feature would be an extension to the field type 'textfield' that combined some of the settings from a list field to allow for AJAX powered suggestions to appear.

The field would appear in CMSB as a text field but as the user started typing, suggested values would appear based on the settings for that field. The settings could be similar to the list field, so either a static list or a lookup on another database table.

Can you let me know if this would be possible, and whether it's planned at all for future releases?

Thanks for the suggestion, this isn't something that we currently have planned to add to CMS Builder, although we will look into it, as it would be possible.

If you wanted to create something yourself that could do this Jquery UI comes with an ajax auto complete module built in.

Thanks Greg, I'll have a look at it. Is this something you'd considering adding for me on a paid consultancy basis?

I want to add it into the CMSB Admin interface, not on the website.
