Geocoded map initial zoom level

I have a table that is geocoding several addresses on one map. When i have only one address in the db the map starts out zoomed all the way in so it looks like nothing is there.
Is there a way to set the initial zoom of a map?

Hi,
When displaying multiple addresses, the geolocator code automatically set's it's zoom so that you can see all of the points on the map.
When you only have 1 address, do you see no marker at all?
