Displaying most recent multi-listing on a homepage

I'm using a multi-listing section as a blog, so I have a side menu with all of the blog entry links, but I'm looking to have the most recent entry appear in the body of the main blog page. Any thoughts?

Hi Meg,

Have you tried using the code generator to create a combo page viewer? What your trying to create sounds very similar to what it generates. It will make a page with a navigation system on the left, and the main article on the right. Before an article is selected, it will display the latest article on the right hand side.
