CMS Builder 1.23 - Incorrect Date range since New Year

A client who's using CMS Builder has just noticed that the date is defaulting to 2006 since 1st Jan 2013.  I've logged in to take a look and it's true.  Also the available date range that can be selected runs from 2006 to 2012.  The attached image may explain things better.

I need to change this but how?

Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim,

In older versions of CMS Builder you need to extend the year range manually.

You can do this by editing the blog section, then modifying the date field and you should have the option to add more years to it / extend its range.

Thanks!

Hi Tim,

Could you fill out a second level support request for me? You can find the form here:

Then I can take a closer look at the issue.

Thanks!

Hi Tim,

Here are the steps for for updating the year range for a date field:

1. In CMS Builder go to Admin then click on Section Editors.
2. Choose "modify" for the Section Editor that you want to update the date field. Example: blog
3. Now you can see all the fields for blog, click modify for "date".
4. In the popup window change the "Year Range" end year to something like 2020. See attached image.
5. Click Save.

Repeat these steps for other Section Editors with a date field.

I have gone through these steps for the blog section editor and tested that the current date will
not appear by default when creating a new blog post.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks!
