Hello Team,
I'am big fan of CMSBuilder.and active developer with the product however not a network/php security specialist.
My question is: How strong is the security of the Admin back-end and as well the membership plugin (v1.08) authorization PHP Secure Login?
We are developing new projects which includes sensitive personal information of the users and their business.
Iam looking forward for your reply,
Karls
Hi Karls,
The security for CMS Builder is strong, we've never had a documented case of someone using CMS Builder to gain access to a server.
If you want to ensure that your hosting doesn't have security holes, you could use the exploit Scanner add-on (http://www.interactivetools.com/add-ons/detail.php?Exploit-Scanner-1063) to check for vulnerabilities.
I would try to find a hosting company with good server security, as it's far more likely that someone would gain access to your account through a server vulnerability than through CMS Builder.
Thanks!
