Record limit when using lists

Hi,
when using a list type field, set to 'Get options from database', there seems to be a limit imposed of around 50,000 records.
This can be overcome by changing the list type to be 'Get options from MySQL query' and writing the corresponding query but can somebody please confirm this is the case and if so can the limit be overcome?

Hi Paul,
There is a limit imposed on the list field, and the only way you can get around it without modifying the core code of CMS Builder is to use 'Get options from MySQL query' option as you suggested.

Thanks Greg, as long as I know it's an imposed limit then I can work around it using the MySQL queries.
