Hi,

Is there a way to hide a record while is being edited?

Sometimes the updates take a while, and while the record is being edited, the user of the website sees incorrect or incomplete data.

I´m using Dreamweaver to hide the records, but, Is there a way to hide a record using the cmsbuilder?

Hiding a record is easy

Just add a check box to your section editor called "Hidden". (without  the quotes)

When that box is checked in the record and the record is saved, the record is hidden from the website. When you're ready to publish, just un-check the box and save again.

It's a good idea to show the field in your ListPage Fields list (general tab of the section editor). That way you'll get a quick idea of which records are hidden from the site. Just add ,hidden to the end of the ListPage Fields list.

There are lots more tips, tricks and recipes in my CMSB Cookbook http://www.thecmsbcookbook.com

Hope that helps,
