Cannot create new editors - 2.53, new host

I just started to use a new host environment.
I've installed my first site and was making modifications to the code. I needed to add a new editor and I get a partially complete add new editor window and then it just stops.
I've attached a picture of the window. I noticed another post originated by Jerry K., but that did not appear to be the same problem as I didn't see any items in which the beginning of the file was corrupted.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Gary.
It turned out that my new hosting environment was blocking parse_ini_file which is still needed for some of the old presets that are in INI format.
That brings up another question - is there a tool that will convert any of the old INI formatted presets into the new format? It seems counter productive to continue to distribute the old INI file formats with my installations, but I have a lot of my own presets that I developed a long time ago that I continue to distribute.
Let me know.
Gary.

Hi Gary,
We don't have a specific tool for updating preset INI files. Are you able to still create sections from your presets? If you are, check the new INI file that the is produced when the section is created. This should match the format of the other INI files. You can then use this as your new preset INI file when distributing your files.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if you run into any problems.
Thanks
