Hi Jerry,

The problem we had with private messages between forum members is that users were getting spammed.

I generally add my email to a post to continue the conversation outside of the forum but I do see your point.

Hi Damon,

Just a thought,

Since users have to register for the forum and only those registered users that opt in to private messaging, maybe a contact form of some sort would eliminate some of the spamming issues.

Something like what Ebay does perhaps?

That way members would be more protected, and we'd also get the benefit of private messaging.
