Hello,
I would like to have a private messaging board feature on my website so that users can send messages to each other via their control panel.
I was wondering if the "Download Mail" plugin could be used as a starting point. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Hi Greg,
I'm afraid the Download Mail plugin is more of a developer tool for downloading email. It wouldn't be useful in extending to create a private messaging system.
We've built private messaging systems for custom projects many times, but I'm afraid we haven't released a plugin which handles this feature just yet. We could build a private messaging feature for you though our consulting services if you'd like. Please let me know if this is something you're interested in and we'll get started on getting you a quote.
