Using isValidEmail in back end.

Hi all,
Has anyone implemented the built in isValidEmail function to check the validity of an email field in a record during "save" when the record is created through the back end management interface, (or am I missing something really obvious)?
Thanks,

Hi Jerry
Thanks for posting! I think the best way to implement email validation on the backend of CMS Builder would be via a plugin using the "record_presave" hook. It would be a pretty straight forward plugin. I would likely have one global variable with a list of tables you want the plugin to work in as well as a global variable for the list of field names you want to work with. The "isValidEmail" function will work in a plugin :).
You can email me via consulting@interactivetools.com if you wanted us to build that for you.
Thanks!
