Hello IT Crew,
I've received this error for the first time ever:
IO error: 'Error #2038
I disabled the flash upload and this error was not thrown. When I re-enabled the flash upload the error was thrown again.
I found an older thread on this topic, and I've already checked file upload info on the hosting platform. This is a newer web host to us, but we've already installed a few CMSB sites on their system without this error message presenting itself. I'm running CMSB v2.53.
Please advise, and let me know if more information is needed.
Thank you very much,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Changing the Upload Directory in the Admin > Settings appears to have solved the issue.
If not or if there are any other issues, please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi Damon,
I tried the upload process again and still received the error.
I've responded to your support email, and I appreciate you checking that out so quickly.
Thanks again,
Steve

Hi Damon,
I've determined the error presents itself when accessing the CMS Admin from the secure socket with shared ssl. The error is not thrown when accessing the CMS Admin from standard http.
Thanks,
Steve

I just wanted to post the end result here.
It turned out to be an ssl cert issue on the preview domain. Although I had allowed a temp exception in the FF browser, FF won't allow for certain things as they are deemed a security risk - hence the upload failing. Not a CMSB issue.
Damon and Greg, thank you for looking into this and identifying the issue. Much appreciated.
Best,
Steve
