Transfered server... certain functions not working

Hello,
Our prior developer built our site with in your CMS. We have recently switched hosts from HostGator to Media Temple. We have not completed the pointing of the domain so the new site is at http://s183940.gridserver.com/. The old site is still at http://www.hightidecreative.com.
The issue right now is the portfolio. For instance when you go to http://s183940.gridserver.com/identity.php... and click on logos, it changes the logo in the box. also when you use the arrows it changes the logo. At http://s183940.gridserver.com/identity.php it does not. No coding was changed other than updating to the new db in the settings file. Is there any way you could help me?

This is peculiar! I tried submitting the ?i=1 with POST and that didn't work either. It seems like request information isn't getting to the script.
Here you can see the script on your old site failing to get a record: http://www.hightidecreative.com/identity.php?i=9999
But on your new site, it seems like the script isn't paying attention to the request at all: http://s183940.gridserver.com/identity.php?i=9999
I think this is a problem with your web host, and it could probably be proven to them that there's a problem by using a simple <?php print_r($_REQUEST) ?> script, but that's a guess.
